Healthy Cook-Up with Dr. Soski: Episode 17 - Celebratory Cocktails…with special guest Dr. Andersen!!

Finding cocktails without sugar or artificial ingredients can be hard! Making cocktails at home can be a great way to keep your drinks healthy and save you some money in the meantime! In general, using a mixture of fruit juice, fizzy water, and your spirit of choice makes a delicious beverage! Getting the ratios down is the art, so I invite you to play around until you find a few combinations that you love!
The 2,3,4 It’s 5 o’clock Somewhere! of Great Cocktail Making! – The General Ratios
2 oz liquor/spirit of choice
3 oz fruit juice – fresh squeezed or pressed is best!
4 oz club soda/sparkling water/mineral water
Mix all ingredients in a cup and pour over ice. Add a salt rim if you’d like depending on the spirit you use!
Today we will be using orange, lime, and persimmon for our juice mixed with some tequila and mezcal!
